Phases of Care

Relief Care

Relieves pain and symptoms. Visits are spaced 24 to 72 hours apart until correction takes hold. Treatment includes spinal adjustments and supportive physiotherapy and exercise. (This is much like an orthodontist tightening braces on a weekly basis.)

Corrective Care

Completes correction. As correction begins to take hold, the time between your visits can be increased. (Discontinuing care at this phase would be like an orthodontist removing braces half way through care. The teeth would return to their original position.)

Stabilization Care

Stabilizes and helps fully heal the muscles and ligaments to keep problem from returning. Treatment includes adjustments and stabilization exercises. A comparative X-ray measures progress. (Like wearing a retainer)

Wellness Care

Helps protect the investment you have made in your care. Allows you to stay pain free at the highest activity levels with minimum commitment. Promotes optimum nervous and immune system function. Keeps spine aligned so problems don’t return. (This is also like wearing a retainer periodically so your teeth don’t move back.)

Dr. Jon Gray Asks some important questions of interest to Boise residents - Chiropractor Boise Dr. Jon Gray Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
How do you know when you're healthy?
Ask most Boise residents this simple question and you're likely to hear, "When you feel good" or "When you're at your proper weight for your height" or "When you have lots of energy and vitality." Great answers. But our chiropractic patients know that true health is when your body is working as it was designed. True health is how you function, not how you feel.
